About this opportunity
Gwinnett County is seeking competitive sealed bids for document processing services related to voter registrations and elections through solicitation BL032-25. The procurement is an annual contract with four potential one-year renewal options, targeting comprehensive document management for the Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections Division. Qualified contractors will be responsible for processing voter registration documents, managing election-related paperwork, and supporting the county's electoral administrative functions. The bid is due on March 28, 2025, with the original posting occurring on March 13, 2025. While specific evaluation criteria are not fully detailed in the provided summary, the solicitation emphasizes the need for contractors to be qualified and capable of handling sensitive electoral documentation.
The contract opportunity includes significant restrictions on bidder eligibility, specifically noting that firms currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list are automatically disqualified from submitting proposals. Contractors who have been debarred, suspended, or placed on the ineligible source list are prohibited from submitting offers, even if they receive automatic notifications about the solicitation. Though precise budget ranges are not specified in the available documentation, the multi-year contract structure suggests a potentially substantial ongoing engagement. The procurement appears open to various types of document processing firms with demonstrated capabilities in election and voter registration administrative support. The county's explicit emphasis on contractor compliance and eligibility indicates a rigorous selection process aimed at ensuring high-quality, reliable document processing services for electoral administrative functions.
