The Badging Office is located in the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Building N-1 on Atlantic Road outside the Main Gate. In-person attendees will be limited to three (3) persons per company.  WFF staff will be available to assist in badging and access to the main facilities.  For access to WFF two options exist:

  1. If persons attending already have a NASA PIV badge, they are required to submit a NAMS (IDMAX.nasa.gov/NAMS/user/) request for WFF Access and WFF Island Access.
  2. If personnel attending do not have a NASA PIV badge, temporary badge requests must be submitted NLT Friday June 2, 2023 prior to the event to Alex Royal (james.a.royal@nasa.gov).  Information to be submitted must include:
  1. Full Name
  2. Company of Employment
  3. Country of Citizenship

*Foreign National attendees cannot be supported in person due to the short timelines for approval when compared to the event occurring.

The Industry Day Presentation will begin at 0830 in building E-100 with a general overview of the Range Program. However, the auditorium will be opened at 0800 to allow for sign-in and seating.

With the high in-person turnout anticipated, please allow plenty of time to secure access at the Badging Office. There is also a limitation of persons inside the Badging Office which may lead to delay. The Badging Office will be open at 0700 – 1500.  The WFF Security Badging Office (N-1) can be contacted via phone at 757-824-2222 and is located outside the WFF Main Gate.

Update #1 ·

You are invited to review and comment on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration  (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) / Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) Wallops Range Contract (WRC) solicitation. The principal purpose of this requirement is to provide Wallops Range operations and maintenance; support services; training; command, control, communications, information, and computer systems services; testing, modifying, and installing communications and electronic systems at launch facilities, launch control centers and test facilities; range sustaining engineering services, and ground operations support. Places of performance with fixed instrumentation system infrastructure include NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia (WFF), Bermuda, and Poker Flats Alaska. The Contractor shall also be responsible for supporting various Wallops Range customers from multiple launch sites, including remote launch campaigns. Potential offerors are encouraged to comment on all aspects of the draft solicitation, including the requirements, schedules, proposal instructions and evaluation approaches, any perceived safety, occupational health, security (including information technology security), environmental, export control, and/or other programmatic risk issues associated with performance of the work. Potential offerors should identify any unnecessary or inefficient requirements and are also encouraged to comment on the DRFP CLIN structure, the clarity of the Representative Task Order (RTO) requirements and their ability to effectively price the RTO, and the Section M Evaluation Criteria.

Any comments regarding the DRFP should be submitted electronically in writing, to Therese Patterson, Contracting Officer, at therese.l.patterson@nasa.gov, within 14 calendar days after the release of this DRFP. If a respondent believes their comments contain confidential, proprietary, competition sensitive, or business information, those questions/comments shall be marked appropriately. However, questions that are marked as containing confidential, proprietary, competition sensitive or business information will not be provided a Government response. The Government will consider all comments received in preparation of the Final RFP. To the extent a comment leads the Government to revise the acquisition approach or requirements, the change will be reflected in the Final RFP. Some DRFP questions and comments may receive a posted response to the GPE if the Contracting Officer determines that a response would facilitate additional understanding of the solicitation. The Government may also respond via the GPE to comments and/or questions received following the issuance of the Final Request for Proposal (RFP).
