About this opportunity
The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is seeking a comprehensive Information Technology Support Contract (ITSC) V to provide IT services for Senate offices in Washington, DC and all 50 states. The solicitation, numbered 2025-R-001, requires a contractor to deliver hardware and software acquisition, help desk services, maintenance, and on-site support for Senate technology infrastructure. Key contract requirements include maintaining ISO/IEC 20000 certification, providing a three-tier help desk support structure, and employing technicians certified by HP, Microsoft, and Apple. Potential contractors must demonstrate advanced cybersecurity practices, secure supply chain management, and the ability to support a complex, decentralized IT environment. The proposal submission deadline is April 25, 2025, with a contract base period of two years and four potential one-year renewal options.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be open to qualified contractors across the professional, scientific, and technical services sector. The scope of support encompasses approximately 11,220 desktops, 15,295 laptops, 17,081 monitors, and 21,263 mobile devices across Senate locations. The contractor must operate a secure 2,500 square foot warehouse in the DC metropolitan area and provide 24/7 support during Senate sessions, with a transition period planned from July through September 2025. Performance will be evaluated using a comprehensive past performance questionnaire and adherence to specific service level agreements with potential incentives and penalties. The contract will support approximately 140 separate entities, including Member offices, Committees, Leadership offices, and support organizations, with a primary focus on maintaining and improving the Senate's technological capabilities.
