About this file

This is a glossary document (Attachment J-19) that provides definitions for technical terms and acronyms related to the U.S. Senate Information Technology Support Contract.

The glossary includes definitions relevant to IT support services, networking, and Senate operations, such as business days/hours definitions, technical certifications (CCNA, MCSE, MCSA), and Senate-specific terms (SAA - Sergeant at Arms, SFN - Senate Fiber Network). It also defines operational terms like "delivery-only" (no on-site work), "reasonable resolution" (up to one hour of Help Desk effort), and "RTS - Return to Stock" procedures for Washington DC and state offices. The document supports the larger ITSC V contract which provides IT support services to Senate offices in DC and all 50 states.
