About this opportunity
Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground is preparing to procure security gate maintenance and repair services at Aberdeen Test Center, with responses to the Request for Information due November 2, 2026. The acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial products and services using full and open competition, with set-aside determination pending market research results.
Work encompasses preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and replacement services for 14 automated security gates across Aberdeen Proving Ground locations, including APG South (Edgewood Area) and Churchville Test Area. Four Main Restricted Area Gates (Gates 13, 24, 25, and Post 10) require semiannual preventive maintenance and next-business-day emergency response; ten Range and Area Gates require annual preventive maintenance and second-business-day emergency response. Gate equipment includes HySecurity Slide Drivers, LiftMaster operators, FAAC barrier arms, AMAG access control systems, HID readers, and numeric keypads. The contractor will diagnose AMAG system issues but will not maintain AMAG Symmetry panels or HID readers directly. Manufacturer certifications and technical licenses are not required but preferred.
Performance consists of a base period plus four 12-month option periods. Contractor personnel must be vetted and badged through the APG Visitor Center, and all invoicing and receiving reports must be submitted through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). The Government will provide site visits to interested contractors prior to proposal submission. Questions are due October 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The Government is considering use of the GSA Multiple Award Schedule vehicle based on RFI responses. Responses must include a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate with pricing assumptions and recommended CLIN structure.
