About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command's Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, is soliciting proposals for elevator repair and maintenance support services under solicitation W91RUS-27-R-A002, with responses due November 30, 2026. The procurement is a Total Small Business set-aside.

The notice lists the place of performance as Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, AZ. The derived summary of Technical Exhibit 1 instead describes 35 elevator systems in buildings at Aberdeen Proving Ground, so confirm service locations against the exhibit itself before pursuit.

The contractor furnishes all plant, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to inspect, maintain, and repair the elevator systems in strict accordance with the specifications, drawings, and contract terms. Per the Technical Exhibit 1 summary, the fleet comprises 21 standard elevators, 6 handicap lifts, and 8 freight elevators, with capacities from 250 to 12,000 pounds, hydraulic and electric technologies, and service frequencies from weekly to bi-annual.

Attachment summaries require all work to comply with ASME A17.1. Hydraulic elevator requirements define bi-annual, annual, and five-year inspection tiers, and electric elevator requirements define the same three tiers with different test scopes. Preventive maintenance checklists require pass/fail documentation by inspection category, a quarterly fire service test section, and wire rope replacement criteria based on ASME standards.

The notice is classified under NAICS 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and PSC Z1PZ, Maintenance of Other Non-Building Facilities.
