THIS IS A SYNOPSIS INTENDED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO INDUSTRY
Program Manager, Engineer Systems (PM ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) will be posting, within the next two months, a Request for Proposal(RFP), for the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) for the Marine Corps Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH-RT 240).
The RTCH-RT 240 is a rubber tired, all-wheel drive vehicle designed to lift, stack, and carry both 20 foot and 40 foot long American National Standards Institute/International Standards Organization (ANSI/ISO) containers/shelters weighing up to 53,000 lbs.
Offerors must demonstrate the ability to restore each RTCH back to like new condition and make improvements that meet the requirements that will be listed within the forthcoming RFP.
The Marine Corps requirement is estimated to be 117 systems. The anticipated contract type will be firm-fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This will be a ten-year contract using a five-year ordering period with an option for an additional five-year ordering period.
