This is modification 4 to the synopsis entitled Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Capture (RPOC IV) Contract NNJ16582596R which was posted on September 15, 2016. You are notified that the following changes are made: The Pre-proposal Bulletin is posted.
The due date for responses is not extended. Questions are due no later than October 31, 2016.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html.
The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).

The due date for responses is extended. Questions are due no later than October 31, 2016. Proposals are due no later than 3:00pm (central time) on November 28, 2016.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

1) The Milestone Schedule has been updated on the RPOC IV Procurement Website.
2) Items have been added to the RPOC Technical Library.
3) The Questions and Answers for the Draft of Sections C, L and M are posted.
The due date for responses is not extended
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541330 and $15M, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the final RFP is on or about October 13, 2016 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about November 23, 2016.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

NASA/Johnson Space Center plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Capture (RPOC IV). Modification 1 to this Presolicitation Synopsis will contain the Draft RFP (Sections C, L, and M) and applicable instructions for responses.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
