ENGINEER I
This position is considered an entry level engineering position. Responsibilities include assisting in design, development, test, analysis, technical configuration management of hardware, software, etc., in the various engineering disciplines. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, environmental, structures, thermal, safety, software, systems and quality.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or in a related area
0-4 Years
ENGINEER II
This position is considered a journeyman level engineering position. Responsibilities include design, development, test, analysis, technical configuration management of hardware, software, etc., in the various engineering disciplines. Required to supervise less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, environmental, structures, thermal, safety, software, systems and quality.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or in a related area.
4-10 Years
ENGINEER III
This position is considered a senior level engineering position. Responsible for more complex issues including systems engineering. Responsibilities include design, development, test, analysis, technical configuration management of hardware, software, etc., in the various engineering disciplines. Required to supervise less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, environmental, structures, thermal, safety, software, systems and quality.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or in a related area

ENGINEER IV
This position is considered a senior level engineering position. Responsibilities include conceptual thinking, design, development, test, analysis, technical configuration management of hardware, software, etc., in the various engineering disciplines. Required to supervise less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, environmental, structures, thermal, safety, software, systems and quality.
