About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard seeks reconfiguration of office furniture and cubicles in Madison, Wisconsin, with quotes due August 12, 2026. This is a 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 337214, size standard 1,100 employees), though quotes from Federal Prison Industries may be accepted per Alternate I of FAR clause 52.219-6.
Place of performance is the second floor of a facility at 2400 Wright Street, Madison, Wisconsin 53704. The vendor must disassemble sixteen existing UNICOR "Crescendo" series cubicles (currently configured with 42-inch panels in four groups) and reconfigure them into fourteen to fifteen workstations comprising twelve L-shaped workstations and two or three U-shaped customer service counters, all with 66-inch high privacy panels. The new layout organizes workstations into three groups (one group of 4, one group of 8, and one group of 2–3 customer service counters on the right side). The vendor is responsible for disassembly, provision of new panels to raise existing panels to 66 inches, panel trims, hinges, corner connectors, height-adjustable electric sit/stand desks with single-action raise and optional motorized adjustment for U-shaped third surfaces, rolling cabinets underneath workstations, and overhead storage with shelves, lockable cabinets, and lighting. All new finishes must match existing 2021 UNICOR Crescendo materials. The Government will remove IT/Data cables (Cat6/NIPR/SIPR) prior to disassembly and will provide a licensed electrician to connect furniture base power whips to building power. Installation hours are Monday through Friday, 0730–1630 local time, with loading dock and elevator access available. Delivery is required within 90 calendar days from award date.
The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation under FAR Part 12, with firm-fixed-price terms. Award will be made to the quoter providing the most advantageous quote to the Government, evaluated on price, technical merit, and past performance. A reconfiguration using existing parts to the maximum extent is requested due to budgetary constraints, but quotes for complete system replacement will be considered. Funds are not presently available for award. The vendor must provide standard commercial material warranties and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty covering assembly, leveling, structural integrity, alignment, moving parts functionality, and electrical safety. The contractor is not responsible for warranty coverage on reused components that fail due to age, normal wear, or preexisting conditions unless the quote specifies otherwise. A site visit is highly recommended; site access requires a REAL ID.
