Purchase Description / Statement of Work Summary

This Statement of Work describes the reconfiguration of existing office furniture at a Government facility. The vendor must disassemble sixteen (16) existing UNICOR "Crescendo" series cubicle workstations (currently configured in four groups with 42-inch separation panels) and reconfigure them into a new fourteen (14)-workstation layout comprising three groups with sixty-six-inch (66") privacy panels. The new configuration includes twelve (12) L-shaped workstations and two (2) U-shaped customer service counters designed to improve acoustic isolation and customer privacy while introducing additional return work surfaces, increased storage capacity, and modified electrical routing. The installation is scheduled for the second floor of a facility with available loading dock and elevator access, with work hours limited to Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1630 local time.

The vendor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment including new panels, panel trims, hinges, corner connectors, return work surfaces, storage units (overhead bins and pedestals), and internal electrical whips and power poles. All new components must match existing 2021 UNICOR Crescendo finishes in laminates, fabrics, paint, and trims. The vendor must integrate existing and reused components with newly sourced items and manage component inventory disposition. The Government will handle base power connections via a licensed electrician and will remove IT/Data cables (Cat6/NIPR/SIPR) prior to disassembly; the vendor must provide cable routing pathways within the new 66-inch panels. Warranty requirements include standard commercial warranties for all new parts and materials, plus a minimum one-year workmanship warranty covering the entire reconfigured system (both new and reused components) from the date of final Government acceptance, guaranteeing proper assembly, leveling, structural integrity, alignment, moving part functionality, and electrical safety.

Purchase Description / Statement of Work

21-Jul-26

1. Background The existing office furniture was originally purchased from UNICOR (Federal Prison Industries) in 2021, utilizing the "Crescendo" series cubicle systems. The original 16-workstation open-pod design features low panels that currently inhibit the ability to conduct private customer service and create constant acoustic and visual distractions for personnel working in the space. The original layout is shown in the drawing attached to the solicitation: “2021 Purchase - Original Installation Electric Plan” and “2021 Purchase - Original Installation Floor Plan”.

To mitigate this, the Government intends to reconfigure the system to a new layout comprising fourteen (14) total structures: twelve (12) L-shaped workstations and two (2) U-shaped customer service counters featuring taller 66" high privacy panels to isolate noise and protect customer privacy. The new layout also introduces additional return work surfaces, increased storage, and modified electrical routing.

2. Scope of Work The vendor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the following tasks:

• Disassembly: Tear down the existing 16 UNICOR office cubicle workstations. These are currently in an open layout with 42” separation panels. Cubicles are currently in 4 groups, with the cubicles sharing walls within each group; 1 group of 5, 2 groups of 4, and 1 group of 3.

• Reconfiguration & Installation: Build the new 14-workstation layout. Cubicles will be in 3 groups with 66” separation panels, with the cubicles sharing walls within each group; 1 group of 4, 1 group of 8, and 1 group of 2.

• Component Integration: To the maximum extent, integrate existing and reused components with newly sourced components.

• Provision of New Parts: Provide necessary new components, including but not limited to:

• New panels to increase height of existing panels to 66"

• Panel trims, hinges, and corner connectors

• Return work surfaces for L-shaped and U-shaped desks

• Additional storage units (overhead bins/pedestals)

• Internal electrical whips and power poles

• Finish Matching: Ensure all new components (laminates, fabrics, paint, and trims) are fully compatible with and match the existing 2021 UNICOR Crescendo finishes.

• Asset Disposition: Manage the inventory of all components.

3. Site Coordination and Demarcation Vendors must acknowledge and coordinate the following facility constraints:

• Electrical Demarcation: The vendor is responsible for all furniture-integrated electrical components (whips, receptacles, power poles). Connecting the

• IT/Data Lines: The Government will remove existing IT/Data (Cat6/NIPR/SIPR) cables prior to disassembly. The vendor must provide the necessary pathways within the new 66" panels for the Government to route new cables after the physical build is complete.

4. Warranty Provide minimum warranties as follows:

a. Material Warranty: The contractor will provide standard commercial warranties for all newly provided parts and materials.

b. Workmanship Warranty: The contractor will provide a workmanship warranty covering the entire reconfigured system (encompassing both new and reused parts) to guarantee proper assembly, leveling, structural integrity and alignment, moving part functionality, and electrical safety resulting from the installation process. The warranty must be for a minimum of one year from the date of final Government acceptance.

5. Installation Information

• Installation hours are M-F 0730-1630 local time.
