About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document addressing clarifications on a federal contract opportunity for office workstation configuration and installation.

The solicitation concerns the setup of 14 workstations in room 202 at 2400 Wright Street. The contractor is responsible for developing the final workstation layout plan, with the Government's initial specification calling for three groupings (4, 8, and 2 workstations) arranged left to right with walk-through separations between groups and around the perimeter. The original installation was procured directly from UNICOR with no associated purchase order; only floor and electrical plans are available to the contractor. Paragraph 4 of the Purchase Description was revised to exclude warranty coverage on reused components, limiting contractor responsibility to failures occurring during installation, not those resulting from age, normal wear, or preexisting conditions unless the contractor's quote specifies otherwise. New components may be shipped directly to the delivery site with pre-arranged deliveries accepted Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM local time; a REAL ID is required for site entry. The receiving contact information will be provided at contract award. All responses were dated July 17, 2026, with a document timestamp of July 22, 2026 at 2:30 PM.

Questions and Answers

Question # Question Answer Date Received 1 Does the Government have a proposed layout for the new 14-workstation configuration, or is the contractor responsible for developing the final plan base on your requirements?

The contractor will develop the final plan. The new layout will be in the same location at room 202. There will be a a walk-through separation between each group, as well as on the outer perimeter of the entire group of 14 workstations.
