About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground has issued a Special Notice for a draft Invitation for Bid (IFB) concerning Power Distribution Illumination Systems, Electrical (PDISE) systems and accessories. The notice is for a five-year, Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract set aside exclusively for small businesses. The procurement will focus on acquiring critical military power distribution equipment, including the M40 A/P Distribution System, M100 A/P and M200 A/P Electrical Feeder System, and the M46 Electrical Utility Assembly. These ruggedized power distribution systems are designed to transmit electrical power between military generator sets and will be used globally at bases and stations worldwide. The contract structure includes a 12-month base period for First Article Testing of 8 prototype units, followed by a 48-month optional ordering period, with an estimated maximum contract value of $58 million. Eligible small businesses must be prepared to develop and test two units each of the M200, M100, M40, and M46 systems during the base period. The solicitation includes range pricing requirements for quantities ranging from 1-200 units across 28 different Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). Contractors interested in participating must submit their questions within 10 days of the IFB release, with delivery of the selected systems to be made to Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania.
