Update #3 · Latest ·

Added: Sep 12, 2017 4:25 am Thank you very much for submitting a proposal in response to the Request for Quotation HSFE02-17-Q-0025/GSA e-Buy Post # RFQ1226112 for Project Management Training Course. Unfortunately your company was not selected to provide the Project Management Training courses for the FEMA Region II offices located in New York. After a best value evaluation based on the criteria in the RFQ, it was determined that Beacon Training Services provided the most favorable proposal. Your proposal demonstrated that your company has all of the capabilities to meet the requirements of the RFQ; however, the vendor selected distinguished itself by including the following key components in their submittal: course delivery would include case studies/exercises on specific Region II scenarios; and Beacon Training Services is pre-approved by PMI to issue participants PDUs upon successful completion of the course. Based on cost analysis, their proposal provides best value as their rates for the Project Management Training Courses are slightly lower.

Update #2 ·

Update #1 ·

Added: Aug 16, 2017 9:23 am Statement of Objectives:
FEMA Region II has a requirement to offer a Project Management Program over the next several months to FEMA Region II employees who are working towards completion of their Project Management Professional Certification. It is anticipated that over 20 FEMA Region II staff will be in attendance for each class.

Project Management Program:

1)Project Management Principals
2)Leadership and Communications Skills for Project Managers
3)Building Business Cases
4)Project Risk Management
Place of Performance:
FEMA Region II
26 Federal Plaza
New York, NY 10007

Period of Performance:
FEMA requests for classes to be scheduled before September 2017 and to be taught by December 2017.
Classes can be offered in combination on the same week (i.e. combine a 3 day course with a 2 day course to complete 2 classes the same week.)

Additional Requirements:

• Provide a Course Manual and Workbook for all attendees.
• Confirm if partnering with an accredited university
• Explain how FEMA employees can work towards/obtain Project Management Professional Certification
• Provide a description of your experience including the number of times this course has been provided to the US Federal Government (including the DoD).

Performance Objectives, Goals and Outcomes:

Personnel that attend these courses should leave with a general understanding of course content and how to research to obtain information that supports the subject area. Course materials distributed can meet this objective.
