HSFE02-17-Q-0025--RFQ1226113—PROJECT MANAGEMENT TRAINING

PROSPECTIVE VENDOR QUESTIONS:

Question: Could you please clarify something with regard to Solicitation Number: HSFE02-17-Q-0025?

Under the General Information section of the announcement it is noted that this is a Total Small Business Set Aside however, the actual solicitation is checked as an unrestricted bid. Can you please advise as to which is correct? Also, are there any proposal requirements for submission?

Answer: Yes, this a total business set-aside; I will amend the solicitation to clarify this issue. No, there are no proposal requirements for submission.

Question: Is this a set aside for small business?

Answer: Yes, this is set aside for small business.

Question: Do you current have a relationship with a contractor who performs this kind of work for you?

Answer: No, we do not have a current relationship with a contractor who performs this kind of work.

Question: I have a quick question regarding this RFQ. I have noticed there are 5 courses that are requested in the statement of objectives:

1) Project Management Principals (Course 6100)

2) Leadership and Communications Skills for Project Managers (Course 6101)

3) Building Business Cases (Course 6134)

4) Crafting High Quality Requirements (Course 6311)

5) Project Risk Management (Course 6103)

I have noticed that these course titles, course numbers, and requirements match one to one with the following courses – all from the same company.

1) Project Management Principals (Course 6100) -http://www.managementconcepts.com/MC_Custom/FAQ_files/6100.pdf

2) Leadership and Communications Skills for Project Managers (Course 6101) -https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6101

3) Building Business Cases (Course 6134) -https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6314

4) Crafting High Quality Requirements (Course 6311) -https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6311 http://www.managementconcepts.com/MC_Custom/FAQ_files/6100.pdf https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6101 https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6314 https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6311

5) Project Risk Management (Course 6103) -https://www.managementconcepts.com/Course/id/6103

Is the RFQ pre-determined and set aside for Management Concepts?

Answer: No, this RFQ is not pre-determined or set-aside for Management Concepts. We used the course description as market research. I will amend the RFQ to remove the course numbers as this may be confusing.

Question: We are interested in responding to the above referenced RFQ. Our Project Management courses are PMI certified but we are not partnering with an accredited university. Is this acceptable?

After completion of our courses students will earn the appropriate PDU's which can be applied to PMI certification or maintenance

Answer: Yes, this is acceptable. As long as the Project Management courses are PMI certified, you do not need to be partnered with an accredited university.
