Update #2 ·

Added: May 12, 2014 7:41 am Modified: May 30, 2014 12:45 pmTrack Changes The 6th Contracting Squadron will be soliciting a 100% small business set-aside for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) program. The MACC will be an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for design-build construction projects that shall be awarded via individual task orders. Task orders will provide a vehicle for execution of a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction performed under a design/build or just build process.

In-house design capability or ready access to design capability is a must for projects including alteration and repair to existing infrastructure. Work may potentially involve new construction of buildings or facilities.

The contractor shall provide all material, equipment, labor and general conditions to accomplish the work required for each individual task order. Contractor efforts may also include design (35% - 100% design), and work as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) of individual task orders.

Locations of work will be at MacDill AFB and Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park, FL. The work will be accomplished for the 6AMW, USCENTCOM, USSOCOM, JCSE and other tenants located at MacDill AFB, FL and Avon Park Air Force Range (ACC), Avon Park, FL.

The cumulative MACC value (combined value of all task orders from all awarded contracts) is not to exceed $150M over a five-year period. The value of individual task orders is typically from $200K to $5M. However, there is a potential that task orders may be more or less than this range.

The period of performance is expected to be one (1) twelve (12) month base contract period, with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods and an optional six (6) month extension of services period if needed.

Work to be performed under the MACC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: Sector 23 - Construction, Subsection 236 - Construction of Buildings. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million.

The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 20 June 2014. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the sample project's specifications and drawings, will be available in electronic format, for free, only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at www.fbo.gov.

Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. In addition, offerors MUST register at www.fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Lastly, contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the System for Award Management (SAM) at web site www.sam.gov.
