Amendment 001:
Please disregard the original Exhibit A and utilize Exhibit A the amended version for your proposal..
Update #1 ·
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires paint, coatings, solvents, preservation products, and engineering/technical services for the MSC Fleet Paint Program. The Government is Contracting not only for specific products and services, but also for the availability and delivery of these products and services on a worldwide basis within specific time constraints defined for each main port or geographic zone. An integral part of supplying products and services under this Contract is the engineering support the Contractor provides to ensure all ships and equipment are preserved and maintained properly. The Contractor shall provide products and services, on a worldwide basis, for MSC ships and any other Government owned or Government chartered ships designated by MSC.
The anticipated action will be a single award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a firm, fixed-price pricing arrangement. The ordering period will be for five (5) years. As a result of market research, there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two (2) or more small business concerns; therefore, this requirement will be solicited as Full and Open Competition.
The solicitation will only be available electronically. Electronic copies of the RFP may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website under Solicitation Number N32205-19-R-0054. Hard copy versions of the RFP and any subsequent amendments will not be available. Firms are encouraged to review the website regularly for important solicitation information.
Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to Mr. Derek Willis, email address: derek.l.willis@navy.mil and Ms. Lisa Turlington, email address: lisa.turlington@navy.mil. The deadline for questions regarding this RFP is 24 January 2019 at 9:00 AM Norfolk, VA time.
