About this opportunity

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has published a Special Notice for a sole source maintenance service contract for their EXpressLO ex situ liftout system. The NIST's Materials Measurement Science Division requires these maintenance services to support their research, reference materials, and data analysis activities.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties of NIST's intent to negotiate a sole source contract with EXpressLO, the manufacturer of the EXpressLO system, to provide the required maintenance services. The response deadline for this Special Notice is May 28, 2024, and the NAICS code for this requirement is 811210 - Other Electronic and Precision Repair and Maintenance. NIST has justified the sole source approach due to the proprietary nature of the EXpressLO system and the lack of authorized repair or maintenance partners. While this is not a request for competitive quotations, interested parties are invited to submit responses for the Government's consideration.
