About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to remove two existing failed natural gas-fired high efficiency condensing hot water boilers and install one new 3,000,000 BTU/HR high efficiency condensing natural gas-fired hot water boiler at Building 87 Paint Facility at USCG Base Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, equipment, parts, and materials for the complete disconnection and reconnection of all associated piping systems, natural gas piping, electrical wiring, and control systems. The project requires completion within 60 calendar days of submittal acceptance, with work performed during normal base hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The solicitation will be evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable criteria. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST, questions are due by July 8, 2025 at noon EST, and all quotes must be submitted via email to luis.r.perez1@uscg.mil by July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, parts and materials to disconnect and remove 2 (two) existing failed natural gas fired high efficiency condensing hot water boilers and install 1 (ONE) new high efficiency condensing natural gas fired hot water boiler. The new boiler shall be connected to the existing piping system, natural gas piping, electrical and control wiring. 

This work is located at the USCG Base Elizabeth City, NC in building 87, Paint Facility. 

All quotes must be submitted by 1100 Eastern Time on July 18, 2025. All quotes must be submitted via email to luis.r.perez1@uscg.mil. Ensure blocks 14 (Include UEI) through 20c and 30a, 30b and 30c of the SF 1442, and pricing are completed before emailing.

Source Evaluation: Lowest Price Technically acceptable.
