This solicitation seeks proposals for fire extinguisher maintenance, testing, and inspection services at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, Florida. The Department of the Air Force Reserve Command requires annual maintenance, five or six year maintenance, and twelve year hydrostatic testing of over 1,100 portable handheld extinguishers and 95 wheeled flight line extinguishers. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM EST on August 19, 2022.

Halon and NOVEC flight line extinguishers. Technicians will inspect, service, and test extinguishers in accordance with, but not limited to, the following: 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart H, NFPA 10, UFC 3-600-01 Chapter 9-17, AMEREX manufacturers data, Halon Recycling Corporation Code of Practice for Halon reclaiming Companies, 29 CFR 1910, Subpart L, Chapter 69A-21, Florida Administrative Code, Section 633, Florida Statutes, and any other federal, state and/or local regulations at Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB).
