About this opportunity
The GSA Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), on behalf of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), has published a Special Notice soliciting presentations from industry partners to showcase their information technology capabilities. This Presolicitation/Sources Sought notice was posted on February 9, 2026, and invites companies to participate in an IT Road Show event scheduled for February 24-26, 2026, in San Diego, California. The event will provide industry partners with an opportunity to present their IT solutions directly to government representatives across nine available 30-minute presentation slots per day. No specific set-aside status applies to this opportunity, and participation is open to qualified industry partners. This initiative reflects USSOCOM's interest in identifying innovative technology solutions from the commercial sector.
Companies interested in participating must submit their interest by 11:00 AM ET on February 20, 2026, to the designated contract specialist with required documentation including company information, an NDA, and a specific IT solution marketing attachment. The government is seeking presentations in three primary focus areas: Artificial General Intelligence applications for network operations, power generation and storage solutions with heat-mitigation capabilities, and secure high-throughput data transmission for fixed and mobile environments. Submissions should include architectural breakdowns, risk and constraint analyses, capability assessments, market research, and technology development roadmaps, with white papers required for future or hypothetical technologies. Following the road show, USSOCOM may pursue awards through various contracting mechanisms including subcontracts, OTAs, CRADAs, FAR-based contracts, and SBIR contracts, with some awardees potentially required to achieve NIST SP 800-171 compliance. It is important to note that participation in this event does not guarantee an RFP issuance or contract award.
