About this opportunity

U.S. Special Operations Command is conducting a Request for Information and technology demonstration event, the International Special Operations Forces (ISOF) Range 2027, scheduled for April 13–14, 2027, at the Nevada Test and Training Range in Nevada, with applications due by October 30, 2026 (first tranche) or January 29, 2027 (second tranche). This is not a procurement solicitation and will not result in contract awards.

USSOCOM seeks unclassified technology demonstration candidates from private industry, government R&D organizations, academia, and individuals to exhibit innovative lethality solutions addressing nine focus areas: Weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems, Demolitions/Breaching, Ammunition, Shoulder Launched Munitions, Unmanned Lethal Strike Systems, Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Crew Served Weapons, and Other Relevant Disruptive Technologies. Most categories require Technology Readiness Level 7 or higher; only "Other Relevant Disruptive Technologies" may demonstrate lower TRL.

The event will host approximately 150 exhibitor spaces (75 for live-fire range demonstrations and 75 for non-live-fire displays) and will attract 40+ invited international Special Operations Forces units, federal law enforcement, inter-agency special units, federal RDT&E agencies, and U.S. military service combat development offices who will provide written feedback. Respondents must submit applications through https://isofrange.com and declare any laser, UAS/UGV components, or frequency-radiating technologies. All respondent costs are the respondent's responsibility. Respondents are responsible for ITAR and EAR compliance. Acceptance notifications occur November 20, 2026 (first tranche) or February 11, 2027 (second tranche).
