About this opportunity
U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is conducting an International Special Operations Forces (ISOF) Range 2027 technology demonstration event on April 13–14, 2027, at the Nevada Test and Training Range in Nevada, with applications due by January 29, 2027 (second tranche deadline).
The event invites technology demonstrations from private industry, government R&D organizations, academia, and individuals across nine categories: Weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems, Demolitions/Breaching, Ammunition, Shoulder Launched Munitions, Unmanned Lethal Strike Systems, Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Crew Served Weapons, and Other Relevant Disruptive Technologies. Approximately 150 exhibitor spaces are available, split between live-fire range demonstrations (75 spaces) and non-live-fire or lower Technology Readiness Level demonstrations (75 spaces). Most categories require Technology Readiness Level 7 or higher; "Other Relevant Disruptive Technologies" may be lower TRL.
Applications are submitted via Phoenix Defence website (https://isofrange.com/). An earlier first-tranche deadline of October 30, 2026, accepts applications intended to fill 80 percent of available spaces, with notifications by November 20, 2026. All exhibitor costs—submission, travel, demonstrations, ammunition, and attendance—are the responsibility of the respondent; USSOCOM provides only range access and basic durable targets. Respondents must comply with export control regulations (USML/ITAR and CCL/EAR) and safety requirements per MIL-STD-882E. No contracts will be awarded, and participation does not obligate USSOCOM to purchase equipment. Contact: Mr. Marvin Marcia, marvin.marcia@socom.mil.
