About this opportunity
Army Contracting Command seeks design, delivery, assembly, and installation of office cubicle workspaces and associated furniture at Building 343, Fort Shafter, Honolulu, Hawaii, with proposals due July 21 at 1200 HST. No set-aside applies; competition is unrestricted.
Place of performance is Fort Shafter, Honolulu, Hawaii. The contractor provides a comprehensive, turn-key project including design validation, delivery, assembly, installation, and removal of all product-related debris within 180 calendar days from contract award. Work covers eight rooms (105, 105-A, 105-B, 108, 109, 110, 111, and 112). Workstations must meet mandated dimensions: panel heights of 65x60, 65x30, and 65x36 inches; desk spaces of 30x60 inches; and L-shape configurations of 24x36 inches. Each workstation requires two duplex electrical receptacles, cord grommets, overhead storage bins with locks, task lights, desk pedestals with locks, and pencil trays. The Government supplies no furniture and has no manufacturer or product preferences; the contractor submits Bills of Materials post-award.
Electrical work is critical and constrained. The contractor must connect modular furniture systems to existing building power only using licensed electricians, with no new circuits, breakers, conduit, or panels approved. The contractor must provide electrical drawings and ensure all work complies with regulatory guidelines. Two optional tasks are available: decommissioning and removal of existing furniture into a 30-yard dumpster and providing a licensed electrician for furniture-to-power connections. Work is performed Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays. A pre-award site visit was held; interested parties contact MAJ Patricia Miaga at patriciaclaire.m.iaga.mil@army.mil or 831-220-1800. The NAICS code is 337211 (Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing); PSC is 7110 (Office Furniture). An amended solicitation and Statement of Work were posted July 15, with RFI responses posted the same date.
