The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 is preparing to solicit boiler maintenance and service at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas, with offers due May 22, 2026, under a 100 percent Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside.

The contract is a firm-fixed-price base plus four-year option arrangement valued at $12.5 million, with performance running May 28, 2026 through May 27, 2031. Technicians must hold Fireye/Nexus factory certification and Cleaver Brooks training certification; project managers must hold OSHA 30 certification and all other personnel must hold OSHA 10 certification. The contractor must develop a site-specific safety device testing manual within 180 days of award in compliance with VHA Directive 1810, maintain 95 percent equipment uptime, and respond to emergency service calls within one hour by phone and within eight business hours on-site. Required services include annual boiler safety device and combustion tuning inspections, semi-annual safety device testing, annual instrument calibration, and unlimited emergency maintenance services capped at $20,000 per contract year.
