About this opportunity
The USDA Forest Service is issuing a solicitation for the Bloomington Lake - Midland Trail project. The proposed work involves hauling and placing 700 cubic yards of gravel for a trailhead, as well as temporary traffic control. An optional task includes hauling and placing an additional 467 cubic yards of gravel on Road #30457. The project is located in Bear Lake County, Idaho and has an estimated construction value between $25,000 and $100,000. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled, and proposals must be submitted electronically to the contracting officers by the due date of June 26, 2024.

06/21/2024 - Amendments 0004 + 0005 - Amendment 0004 is issued to document the site visit and provide answers to questions asked. Amendment 0005 is issued to amend the schedule of items. Please see the attached amendments for details.
06/13/2024 - Amendment 0003 is issued to clarify the quantities listed on the Schedule of Items regarding the Unit MG, which is actually thousands of gallons, not millions.
The stated quantities for the gravel are correctly listed on the schedule of items, but the statement of work has different quantities listed. Please utilize the Schedule of Items as these numbers are correct.
The Period of Performance is also being changed to September 1st through the 30th for base items and October 1st through the 15th for option items as there is earthwork that takes place in August that must be done before this project can begin.
The offer due date is not extended. There are no other changes.
