About this opportunity
Army Contracting Command-Anniston Army Depot seeks on-call emergency repair services for manufacturing and testing equipment at Anniston Army Depot, with Phase I closing September 1, 2026, and questions due August 20, 2026. This is a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) Area of Interest issued under 10 U.S.C. 3458, with no restrictions on set-aside categories.
Place of performance is Anniston, Alabama. The equipment roster spans 966 assets including CNC mills and lathes, laser cutters and welders, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, cranes ranging from 2.2-ton to 70-ton capacity, eddy current and water brake dynamometers, transmission and engine test stands, and specialized inspection equipment. The contractor must provide all resources necessary for emergency repairs—labor, tools, diagnostic equipment, transportation, schematics, and documentation—with all work performed by experienced and highly trained personnel following OEM published procedures. Contractors must respond to equipment failures within 48 hours of first-shift notification (excluding holidays and weekends) and maintain SAM.gov registration. The government will provide available manuals and spare parts if in stock; contractors must source replacement parts meeting OEM standards when government inventory is unavailable.
Evaluation employs three equally weighted factors: Technical and Innovative Merit (workforce certifications, OEM training, degree of innovation); Responsiveness/Operational Impact (48-hour mobilization capability, supply chain resilience for spare parts and technical support); and Price and Funds Availability (fair and reasonable pricing aligned with commercial market rates, contingent on fund availability). A voluntary site visit is scheduled for August 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM CDT with RSVP deadline August 13. No funds obligation or performance authorization results from this Area of Interest; all awards are subject to fund availability and successful negotiations. NAICS 811310; PSC J034.
