PEO (JSF)/F-35 JPO requirements are no longer a component of the AIr 6.6 National MAC.
The Solicitation Package continues to be under development, therefore, the anticipated release date will not be 5 January 2016. Notification will be provided when a new release date has been determined.
It is anticipated that the Solicitation will be released between 16-24 March 2016.

The purpose of this synopsis is to serve as an advanced planning notice of the Naval Air Systems Command to announce its intent to procure Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the Life Cycle of the designated weapons systems, system of systems, it sub-systems and support equipment for the Logistics Management Integration Department (AIR 6.6) and Associated Program Support. The AIR 6.6 organization provides the resources necessary to plan, manage, and integrate the design, development, acquisition, delivery, and sustainment of naval aviation weapons systems and products. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 "Engineering Services." At this time, only the Draft Statement of Work (SOW), the estimated Level of Effort hours and milestones are being provided. These documents are subject to change prior to solicitation release. Please note that Section B will include CLINs for each appropriation identified in the SOW. The Minimum Personnel Requirements for this effort have been listed under SOW section 15.0. Industry is requested to provide feedback on the draft documents provided. This advanced notice is not a Request for Proposal. This effort will be competed as a small business set aside, and awarded as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for support services in accordance with FAR 16.505, and will consist of both performance based (Fixed Price) and non-performance based (Cost Plus fixed Fee (CPFF)) task orders with cost-type Other Direct Costs (ODCs) line items. The resultant MAC will consist of a Five Year Ordering Period with a 3 year Award Term.
The Logistics Management Integration Department Competency (AIR 6.6) has a requirement for logistics and technical support services in the areas of planning, analysis, development, training, support equipment management, facilities and execution. The potential customers include, but are not limited to, AIR 6.0 Competency and Business Unit, PEO (A), PEO (T), PEO (U&W), PEO (JSF), and associated Program Offices and FMS.
Draft Statement of Work Statement (SOW) and the Level of Effort hours break down and milestones are available as attachments to this posting. Any questions concerning this material should be submitted to Ms. Bonnie M. Walsh, email address: bonnie.walsh@navy.mil within two weeks of this posting. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The Government requests interested parties provide company name, point of contact, and phone number for establishing a bidders list. This list will be used by the Government for encouraging teaming and small business participation. Requests for inclusion on the bidders list should be sent to Ms. Bonnie M. Walsh (Contract Specialist) via e-mail at bonnie.walsh@navy.mil . The solicitation for this effort is projected to be released 05 January 2016. If anything changes, this office will amend this synopsis and provide notification.
