The Quonset building, constructed in 1963, currently lacks a reliable permanent HVAC system and serves as an office space, workshop, and vehicle maintenance facility. The government is conducting market research to determine the availability and capabilities of potential contractors, with a specific focus on gathering comprehensive capability statements from interested businesses. Respondents must submit detailed documentation including their SAM.gov Unique Entity ID, confirmation of service capabilities, size standards, and at least five similar previous project references. The deadline for submitting responses is March 20, 2025, with the understanding that this notice is for information gathering purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
This Sources Sought notice is designated for total small business participation, specifically targeting HUBZone small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, and small disadvantaged businesses. While no specific award value is mentioned, the project involves replacing the HVAC system in a steel semi-cylindrical structure with a spray polyurethane foam coating, covering approximately four offices, one bathroom, and a workshop area. Respondents are explicitly instructed not to include pricing information and are advised that the government may publish a combined synopsis/solicitation depending on the responses received. The government emphasizes that no compensation will be provided for information submitted and that responders are responsible for their own response-related expenses.
