About this file

This is Amendment 0003 to a federal construction solicitation for a barracks facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Contracting Officer: Ranzel L. Merideth, W912QR Contracting Division, Louisville, KY).

The amendment extends the proposal due date from May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM to May 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM and revises multiple technical specifications and plan sheets. Key specification changes include updates to Section 27 10 00 (Building Telecommunications Cabling System) and Section 00 10 00 (Price Breakout Schedule). The Price Breakout Schedule identifies a base proposal requiring bidders to price five items: Primary Facilities (Barracks Building), Project Site Work, Demolition, 30-inch Drilled Shafts (No Socket), and 42-inch Drilled Shafts (With Socket), plus two fixed-price subcontractor items totaling $1,805,567.00 (City Light & Power Inc. for electrical work at $745,100.00 and Jacobs Engineering for water/sewer work at $1,060,467.00). Three optional bid items are also included for drilled shaft variations and additional proof test holes, priced per foot. Revised HVAC ductwork plans, thermostat schedules, mechanical equipment schedules, building signage details, and foundation details are incorporated. The telecommunications cabling specification requires Category 6 copper and single-mode optical fiber systems with comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and documentation requirements per TIA standards. Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the revised proposal deadline to avoid rejection.
