RFI Question 17-18

Project: WKVB142002, Repair Fuel Cell Hangar and WKVB139016 Add Fuel Cell Hangar

106th Rescue Wing, Gabreski ANG Base, Westhampton Beach, New York

Q17. Answer A5b confirmed that the systems are to be designed for 3 user on the fuselage, 3 on the wing and 1 per horizontal stabilizer. However the answer to the question regarding the two parallel rails over the fuselage states that there are to be “a maximum of two users per rail on the forward portion and two users on the rear portion. This may result in 4 users at a time in each location”

Based upon this response it appears that there are to be eight (8) users for the fuselage rather than three (3) as was indicated in answer A5b. Please confirm that there are to be two

(2) users in each of the two rail positions that are forward of the wing and two (2) users in each of the two rail positions rear of the wing for a total of eight (8) users over the fuselage.

AQ17: Yes, confirmed.

Q18. Specification Section 11 81 29 We have performed an extensive search and are not able to locate any information on the Mobile Aircraft Boarding Stair from Flexible Lifelines Model 13335 Modified Port Stair 2. Please provide product literature or photograph of the required unit.
