W912LR24Q0066 with Amendments
Amendment 05 to solicitation W912LR24Q0066 dated 5 Aug 2024
Purpose: To provide responses to Requests for Information.
NEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 5 AUG 2024
Responses to Questions incorporated in Amendment 04 to solicitation W912LR24Q0066 dated 5 Aug 2024
[CHANGE 3]
Q#6: What is the difference between Unit Price and Extended Price?
Response: Unit Price is the cost per item. Given for example a can of fruit is $3.00 unit price for a quantity of 50 each cans of fruit. Extended price is the cost of the line item with quantities applied. For example, a can of fruit is $3.00, and quantity requested is 50 each, the extended price would be Unit Price x Quantity = Extended Price, or in this case $3.00 x 50 each
$150.00. Another name for extended price column can be “subtotal” for that specific line.
Q#7: Is the proposal for a ready-to-eat meal or can we deliver an uncooked meal (package)?
Response: This solicitation is for groceries; this is not a catering meal request. The offerors shall provide the list of grocery items requested. See solicitation document starting on Section C.
Amendment 04 to solicitation W912LR24Q0066 dated 2 Aug 2024
Purpose: To provide responses to Requests for Information. Questions were received in Spanish and have been translated for this amendment. Original questions in Spanish are in parenthesis.
Q#3: In the Excel form, there are products highlighted in yellow, what does this mean?
(sic))
Response: The highlighted line items reflect changes from original quotation table to last updates. This were in response to questions generated for amendment 02 to correct units of measures. The quotation table last included (Final_Groceries
Corrected Table 17 August.xlsx) is the most updated as of this response an shall be used for submitting offers.
(sic))
Response: Items with a quantity of “zero” shall not be quoted. These items are from a template, and requester usually fills the quantities needed. If the item has a unit quantity of zero, this line item shall be disregarded. Items with specific quantities shall be priced for those specified quantities.
(sic))
Response: We understand that there might be equivalent items with certain variations (e.g., packaging, weight per item like an 8oz bottle vs a 16 oz bottle), however, offerors are encouraged to quote/submit offers as closely as allowable to the specified items
Offerors shall provide items equal or similar to specified and shall match the weight/amount requirements per unit of measure. Offerors can quote the item and make an annotation of the equivalent item in column D (also known as “Remarks” column). These equivalent items shall be verified by the Government to ensure they meet the salient essential characteristics of the requested line item.
There are no other changes to terms and conditions of the solicitation.
Amendment 03 to solicitation W912LR24Q0066 dated 2 Aug 2024
Purpose: To provide responses to Requests for Information. Questions were received in Spanish and have been translated for this amendment. Original questions in Spanish are in parenthesis.
Q#1: The signature for the documents, can it be digital or does it has to be wet-ink? (sic)”)
Response: Reference Solicitation document page 1 specifies that are to be submitted digitally via email to the POCs listed in the solicitation. The document shall be a PDF and can either be a digitally applied signature or a scanned document with a wet-ink signature applied.
Q#2: The delivery date, ¿when is it going to be? In the documents under general information it says 17 Aug at 10:00am but the document of the products state 19 August please clarify.
Response: The delivery date shall be only one delivery on Aug 17 as specified in page 1 of the general information document/solicitation. The date specified in the quotation table, in tabs “Main Grocery”, “Produce”, “Bread”, and “Additional
