INSTALL HEATERS – BLDG. 1427 - Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, is requesting proposals from Small Business concerns for the award of a contract for installation of heaters in Bldg. (Hangar) 1427. The Scope of work is as follows: The contractor shall provide and install heaters and furnaces in Bldg. 1427. For the heaters this is to include but not limited to combustion air intakes, vents, hanging materials, and thermostats. For the furnaces this is to include minor ductwork modification, air conditioning unit, and connection to existing gas and electrical. Contractor is responsible for all remaining work effort in order to provide an acceptable final product that meets the requirements of this Statement of Work and drawings. The projects magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Small
Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information see http://www.sba.gov/. The following
NAICS code 238220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $15 Million.
The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W912JB-16-B-4000 information will be advertised electronically on/about 1 March 2016 at https://www.fbo.gov/ with an anticipated award date of 20 May 2016. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Closing is anticipated to be on or about 13 May 2016. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A prior to the award.

The Government contemplates a basic contract period commencing 20 May 2016 through
20 July 2016.
