About this file

This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for the Dalecarlia Clearwells Maintenance project. The amendment modifies specifications, drawings, and notes related to rehabilitation and upgrades required at two covered concrete water storage structures and connecting conduits at the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant.

Key modifications include extending the period of performance from 332 to 362 days, restricting each clearwell outage to no more than 10 weeks between specific seasonal dates, adding requirements for a portable davit crane, repair mortar, and confined space entry compliance. The amendment also provides additional scope details for gate rehabilitation, drainage improvements, mechanical upgrades, and electrical work. The solicitation remains issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District for critical infrastructure upgrades at a facility supplying potable water to over one million people.
