1. Aer emptying, cleaning, and visual inspecon, water is needed again to refill the separator systems for the general inspecon. Should this be included in the inspecon price – meaning delivery of water for refilling – or do we have hydrants on-site with which we can fill the systems?
We have hydrants where the contractor can get the water to fill up the separators aer cleaning/emptying.
2. How much sludge can be expected in the stormwater retenon basins? Is it solid or more liquid?
Although we have the dimensions of the stormwater retenon basins, we cannot esmate how much needs to be disposed of. Do you have some key data from previous instances?
We have historical data of previous emptying (please see atached Basin Disposal Informaon March 27, 2024), usually it took our current contractor several days to clean the RRB. For the consistence (solid or liquid) I can’t really tell, since there are many factors involved: how long it has not been cleaned, how much rain there was before cleaning, how hot it is outside, so basically a lot of weatherly impact.
3. What wastewater flows into the pump staons? Wastewater from the separators? Domesc wastewater? Rainwater? Is a disposal company needed to access the pumps? Can the pumps be pulled out from the top for maintenance?
3.1- Q: What wastewater flows into the pump staons? Wastewater from the separators? Domesc wastewater? Rainwater?
A: it is Wastewater from the separators.
3.2- Q: Is a disposal company needed to access the pumps?
A: Yes, the contractor will have access the pumps.
3.3- Q: Can the pumps be pulled out from the top for maintenance?
A: Yes, it is possible to pull the pumps out from the top for maintenance.
4. Where does the wastewater from the separator systems need to be disposed of? This informaon is on your disposal cerficate. This is important for the disposal company to properly calculate the landfill trip.
The wastewater needs to be disposed at a cerfied disposal company.
5. What is in the external oil tanks? Is it an oil-water mixture? Used oil? Is wastewater pumped into these tanks?
The external oil-tanks shall be in another contract – M&R liquid storage tanks. I really don’t know why they were in this contract in the first place, currently they get maintained by our tanks contractor.
Please find the updated (Exhibit A_Invent. POL – Without_unit_prices New Version March 27,2024)
6. Is there any informaon more regarding this separator KSS DRMO (YARD) NG 6?
Unfortunately, we don’t have mor informaon for this POL. Due to the age of the Separator and the missing Type plate is the only informaon we have the size NG6. (Please find Atachment Picture of KSS DRMO (YARD) NG 6) with addional Pictures)
