Address and General Contact Information 20 August 2024
A Visit Authorization Request (VAR) verifies your security clearance and avoids escort requirements at the Center for Army Analysis (CAA).
Please note that JPAS is phased out. All clearances should be sent via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
VARs should be sent via DISS or faxed at least 5-7 ( or more) days prior to the meeting, class, or conference.
CAA’s SMO code for DISS is W3WCAA4 For an SCI-level meeting, use SMO Code W0Z1AA3 and state clearly, “Please pass to CAA (W3WCAA)”.
In DISS please designate your sponsor's name and phone number (the sponsor for your event is your POC), and whether your VAR is for one event or to be held for one year if follow-on meetings are expected.
If you do not have access to DISS, you may fax your security clearance verifications to CAA at 703-806-5723 (DSN 314-656-5723).
Contact Mr. Michael Davis (703) 806-5713/5686, Ms. November Jackson (703-806-5715) or Ms. Angela P. Johnson (703) 806-5059 for further information.
For confirmation of receipt, contact the Guards Desk at 703-806-5713.
**DISS is the preferred method. However, if faxing your VAR, contractors must have the “need to know” block on their security clearance verification signed by the contract’s COR, COTR or other appropriate government official.
