About this file
This document is a Measurement and Payment section (Section 01 22 00) for the R-562 Flood Rehabilitation Missouri River Nebraska project (MR00104). The comprehensive document details 40 different bid items for a flood rehabilitation project, covering extensive levee and drainage structure work along the Missouri River. Key work activities include clearing and grubbing, stripping, underwater and surface fill, drainage structure removal and replacement, relief well modifications, erosion control, seeding and mulching, stone protection, and site restoration.
The bid items are measured and paid using various methods including job price, cubic yards, tons, linear feet, square yards, acres, and lump sum, depending on the specific task. The project involves multiple borrow sites including North Nishnabotna Bend, Upper Hamburg Bend, South Nishnabotna Bend, and several private sites for sand, cohesive, and topsoil materials. The work encompasses extensive earthwork, drainage structure modifications, site restoration, and environmental rehabilitation, with careful attention to measurement, payment, and restoration requirements for each specific work element.
