Q&A V.2

21 AUG 2013

1. Can you provide any soil tests so that we can assure foundation design?

a. No soil tests will be provided.

2. Can you provide an existing slab dimension and cross section?

a. Dimensions 115' South to North and 70' East to West, 12" thick. No cross section available. SOW dictates reinforced top slab to be provided; therefore contractor is not responsible for any issues with the existing slab.

3. Can you provide a current land survey for the site?

a. No land survey is necessary for this project.

4. The Detail of site Drawing shows a hip roof on the proposed building.

Does the building require a hip roof or will a gable roof be acceptable?

a. Hip roof is preferred. If a gable roof is designed and constructed to withstand hurricane wind loads it will be accepted.
