b) Barracks approx 218’x39’ Three Stories with a partial basement.
c) Steel roofs are not included in the masonry demolition computations since the steel roofs and trusses are to be salvaged

Demolish building footings, foundations, concrete walls, plain concrete. Unit of measure is CF.
Above: Building structures that may typically be included in the building demolition
Above: Specific portions of sidewalks/drives around buildings will be called out on the individual Building
Demolition Plan. Unit of measure is CF. Contractor will replace demolished concrete walks and drives with dirt and seed/straw.
Left: Specific building demolition plan will describe end state for all underground utilities. Underground utilities that will remain are to be protected from damage and debris.
Demolish building footings, foundations, concrete walls, plain concrete. Unit of measure is CF.
Above: Concrete structures from other building sites may be included in the demolition package.
Shown above are typical utilities at the structures. If the utilities are listed on the individual building demolition specification, the contractor is to remove and salvage the utilities.
Volume of metal buildings will be calculated as Length x Width x height [from the
Finished Floor to the Eaves] (see metal utility below right)
BLDG 832. Constructed with both timber and masonry
Wood and Masonry buildings to be measured in CF.
Total Building measurements will include:
(1) Finish Floor to eaves (Wood)
(2) CF of Masonry End Walls
(3) CF of timber trusses and roof
(4) CF of Foundation
(5) Possibly CF of chimney
(6) Concrete sidewalks and slabs on grade
