ATTACHMENT 7
GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
GENERAL
This attachment includes additional information for Government-furnished equipment and facilities.
An overall map of the project is located in Exhibit K.
Facilities:
Space will be provided at the project for a Contractor office and for storage of equipment at the Somerfield North Recreation Area garage. This area is located along Route 40 about midway on the lake. There are sewage facilities available in the public restroom in the area during the recreation season. Electric and telephone service is available, but power and telephone shall be the Contractor's responsibility. No other utilities are available. The building is unheated. The Contractor shall be responsible for connection of all utilities. Equipment will not be stored outside the building at this site.
Space will be provided in the Outflow Field for storage of equipment. A small (less than 16 ft in any one direction) Contractor-owned tool shed or trailer may be placed in this area at a specific location to be designated by the COR. Water, sewage, and electric are not available at this location. This area is reasonably secure in that the gates to the area are locked, at night. However, the area is open to the public in the outflow fishing area and the group campsites are close by.
The utility closet in the Resource Manager’s Office basement will be available for storage of cleaning equipment and includes a small utility sink.
Where available, the Government will furnish electric and water to perform the specified work. At remote locations, the Contractor shall supply his own utilities.
Property:
Keys will be issued to the contractor at the beginning of the contract as needed. The contractor will then be responsible for issuing keys to his/her employees, tracking them, and for recovering them as employees are laid-off or terminated. All keys will be turned back in to the Government at the end of the contract or as requested by the COR. If keys are lost or not turned back in, the Contractor may be held liable for the cost of rekeying the project.
The Government will furnish telephones and communication systems, for official use only, at each campground entrance station. The contractor will also be responsible for all issued property. An example property list for the campground booths is attached. This list may not be all-inclusive and is subject to change.
