About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document providing clarifications on a CCTV system solicitation.
The document resolves three key discrepancies between solicitation documents regarding camera quantities, backup power requirements, and monitoring station configuration. For camera allocation, contractors must price and provide technical compliance for 8 exterior cameras and 7 interior cameras, superseding the 7 exterior and 7 interior cameras identified in Attachment 3. Regarding backup power, the contractor is responsible for furnishing additional battery capacity to meet the 48-hour backup power requirement during weekend outages, as no building UPS system is available to provide this duration. For the monitoring and viewing stations, the contractor must furnish one primary NVR/workstation with a secondary viewing station located in the Armory and Weapons Cleaning Room, rather than two complete independent monitoring workstations. The primary workstation must include 30-day storage capability as specified in CLIN 0003.

FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS
1. Interior / Exterior Camera Quantity Attachment 3 – Finalized Camera Descriptions appears to identify 7 exterior cameras and 7 interior cameras, while the solicitation CLIN schedule requires 8 exterior cameras and 6 interior cameras. Could you please confirm which allocation should govern for pricing and technical compliance? Allocate for 8 exterior and 7 interior cameras
2. 48+ Hour Backup Power Requirement The RFI responses state that the camera system should have 48+ hours of backup power in the event of an outage over the weekend, while another response confirms that an existing UPS is available. Could you please confirm whether the existing Government UPS will provide the required backup duration, or whether the contractor is responsible for furnishing additional UPS/battery capacity for the complete CCTV system? Additional Battery capacity is required; there are no building UPS.
3. Monitoring / Viewing Stations Attachment 3 now identifies Viewing Station #1 in the Armory and Viewing Station #2 in the Computer Shop, while CLIN 0003 specifies one monitoring workstation with 30-day storage. Could you please confirm whether the contractor is required to furnish:
a. two complete monitoring workstations, or
b. one primary NVR/workstation with a secondary viewing station/client/monitor? It will be one primary NVR/workstation and a secondary viewing station for the Armory and Weapons Cleaning Room.
