About this file
This is a clarification document addressing camera quantity and placement requirements for a federal project. The document specifies that 13 existing cameras are marked in yellow on Attachment #2 (Camera Markings), with multiple red X marks indicating potential additional locations for camera installation. The Department of Public Works (DPW) has approved a total of 14 cameras for the project, meaning only one of the red-marked potential locations will be utilized for the additional camera placement.
The final determination of which red-marked location will receive the additional camera will be made during a scheduled walkthrough on July 16, 2026. This clarification ensures that contractors understand the project scope involves upgrading or expanding a camera system from 13 existing units to a total of 14 units, with the specific placement of the 14th camera contingent upon the site walkthrough assessment.
