About this file
This document is a Davis-Bacon wage determination for highway construction work in Washington state, effective 18 July 2025. The wage determination provides detailed hourly wage rates and fringe benefits for multiple construction trade classifications across various Washington counties, including specific rates for carpenters, power equipment operators, laborers, cement masons, painters, truck drivers, and ironworkers. The wage rates vary by county, job group, and work classification, with additional zone-based differentials that adjust compensation based on project distance from specified city centers.
The document includes comprehensive guidance on wage calculations, including special provisions for work on federal contracts subject to the Davis-Bacon Act, Executive Order minimum wage requirements, and hazardous waste work classifications. Notable features include different wage rates for contracts entered before and after January 30, 2022, with minimum hourly rates ranging from $13.30 to $17.75 depending on the contract date and specific Executive Order provisions. The wage determination also outlines zone pay differentials, depth pay for specialized work like diving, and additional compensation for work involving hazardous materials at various protection levels.
