Fixed Price Incentive (Firm Target) (FPIF)
To be incorporated into Delivery Order 0001 Section G for FPIF CLIN 0001 MH-47-1 CMS Upgrade
The focus is for a schedule based delivery incentive to achieve early deliveries while also encouraging on time or minimally late deliveries. The price specified in the contract includes a premium (profit rate) that is partially forfeited for late delivery but is augmented by a cost incentive (profit rate) to deliver early. The incentive starts at the proposed profit for FPIF CLIN 0001 MH-47-1 CMS Upgrade and increases by month for early delivery and deteriorates to zero at three months late delivery. The deterioration rate is not evenly sequential. This was intentional to maximize a desire to be early and also minimize lateness. Please note there will be no partial percentages one (1) day sooner or later than a month will adjust the percent tier.
