About this file
This document is a photo request and response package for the B104 Garrison Consolidation federal contract opportunity (PR 2026-0211). It provides photographic documentation addressing ten specific inquiries from contractors regarding existing conditions and scope of work within the building complex.
The document clarifies that no moat wall exists on the southwest side of the building; the existing moat wall is located on the north entry (documented in photo 1). Lead-based paint remediation is required on stone and walls only at the northwest, southwest, and northeast stair locations (photos 2-5). Asbestos remediation work includes removal of historical windows and VCT flooring with asbestos mastic in the northeast vestibule (photo 6). Furniture management involves three categories: items to be disposed of or relocated to the west wing (photo 7), items in room N115 requiring relocation to perform work (photo 7), and furniture to be disassembled and stored without reassembly within the B102-B104 complex (photo 7). All building entries on north, east, south, and west sides are affected by work (photo 8). The contractor must provide new blinds per the basis of design specifications. Lighting control systems requiring attention include Comm E152, Comm N124, and Comm W144 Clipsal controllers (photos 9, 11-13). Stair conditions requiring repair correspond to areas identified in lead-based paint remediation requests. Furniture storage locations are to be determined within the B102-B104 complex, with specific accommodation needed for rooms N115, W133, W181, W190, W191, and W192.
