About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for the gage lab calibration services solicitation W519TC-26-Q-CALI. The document addresses vendor inquiries regarding the Army's requirement for gage lab calibration and repair services, with a proposal deadline of March 12, 2026. Questions are directed to contract specialist Bridget Garnica (bridget.m.garnica.civ@army.mil) and Bryce Willett (bryce.t.willett.civ@army.mil), with all inquiries required to be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to the bid response deadline.

Key clarifications provided include: this is a recompete of incumbent contract W519TC-25-P-2005; offerors should quote only the yellow-highlighted cells in the price matrix tabs rather than the full gauge calibration item list; specific calibration equipment models are required, including CMM manufacturer/model information and Keyence OP-88275 VR series calibration standards; and the government is unable to provide QA manager or site lead names at this time, with vendors directed to list Bridget Garnica as the contract specialist instead. The document confirms that while manufacturer and model specifications for certain equipment are not provided in the original solicitation materials, vendors are expected to submit their best estimates given the compressed timeline.

#QUESTIONANSWER
1Is there any incumbent/ recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.Incumbent contract under W519TC-25-P-2005
2I would like to confirm if we should field any questions regarding this bid to you, or if there is another inquiry process that we need to follow? I also would like to confirm if there is an end date for inquiries prior to the bid response deadline of March 12th?Please submit any questions to the following: Bridget Garnica at bridget.m.garnica.civ@army.mil and Bryce Willett at bryce.t.willett.civ@army.mil. Per the solicitation, all questions shall be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to 12 March 2026.
3I don't see a listed manufacturer or model for these but we will do the best we can given this is due 3/12. For the CMM's and Keyence items, I would need a model for those. The Keyence themselves do not get calibrated, we use an OP-88275 VR series calibration standard on them. For CMM manufacturer/ model, see chart below:
ERROR:#VALUE!
4What are the names of the QA manager and/or the site lead for this bid?At this time we are unable to provide this information. Please list contract specialist, Bridget Garnica, in the solicitation.
5Am I quoting the gauge calibration item list (excel file) or the lists in the tabs for the price matrix? Please quote the tabs in the price matrix, but only those cells highlighted in yellow.
