About this file

This pre-bid document outlines requirements for a replacement chiller project at a Vermont Air National Guard facility. The project includes replacing an existing 81-ton roof-mounted chiller with a new ground-mounted unit, along with associated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work. A sequenced construction approach is specified involving initial installation of the new chiller, a maximum two-week transfer to the new system, and demolition of the existing chiller. Bidders must provide operation and maintenance manuals and redline drawings. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed-price contract between $500,000 to $1 million awarded to a small business. The period of performance is 365 days from notice to proceed. The bid due date is August 11, 2022. A complete bid package includes standard forms, line item pricing, bid bond, and representations and certifications. The pre-bid meeting provided an overview of project requirements and a site visit.
