| Note 9 on Drawing S-101 calls for bidders to provide shoring at the patio area “as required”. This is a hidden condition and we do not know what conditions will be found in this area specifically regardless of the Geotech provided. Bidders will be guessing and in absence of a standard assumption that all bidders can carry equally then we are forced to guess or make potentially incorrect assumptions independent of one another. |
Therefore, we strongly suggest an allowance be issued for bidders to carry or have the design team specify a specific shoring that all bidders can carry equally and fairly.

| An allowance of $10,000 will be provided for shoring. |
