About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract solicitation for transformer services at Stewart Air National Guard Base.

The contract involves the management and coordination of 22 transformers located at Stewart Air National Guard Base. The government estimates 4-6 mobilizations and outage windows across a 180-day performance period, though the actual number of mobilizations will be determined by the contractor. The contractor is responsible for scheduling outages and coordinating with the Government and local energy supplier (Central Hudson) as needed. A revised Transformer List with kVA ratings for each unit has been provided as an attachment. Contract award is anticipated by mid-September, no later than September 30, with contractor work on coordination to begin immediately upon award. A site visit was scheduled for August 11 at 10:00 AM to allow contractors to inspect the transformers and photograph nameplates. All 22 transformers are located on Stewart Air National Guard Base.
