1. The Key on Drawing A-401 Enlarged Bathroom Plans lists SCD (Seat Cover Dispenser) and DCS (Diaper
Changing Station) but they are not shown on the plans. Please confirm these accessories are not required. (Architectural, Ref: A-401/102813)
a. Confirmed.
2. The Key on Drawing A-401 Enlarged Bathroom Plans lists both SD (soap dish) and LSD (liquid soap dispenser) but the specs call SD a soap dispenser and do not mention a soap dish. Also, in the elevations on drawing A-401, SD (soap dish) is called out but it looks like a soap dispenser. Please confirm whether we are to provide a soap dish or a liquid soap dispenser for the SD tag.
(Architectural, Ref: A-401/102813)
a. Items with the SD tag should be LSD. This will be updated in addendum 1.
3. CLIN 0002 on the Bid Schedule notes that this line item should include costs for the addition to Building B154. Is the intent for all interior work within the footprint of that addition to be priced in CLIN 0002 as well, rather than with the rest of the B154 renovation work priced in CLIN 0001?
(General, Ref: Bid Schedule)
a. . The intent of Line Item two is to capture the footprint of the building additions as being separate from the Bldg. Renovations. The type of funding for the building additions will be different than the type of for the building renovations if the contract is awarded.
4. CLIN 0002 on the Bid Schedule says to include costs for the addition at the NW corner of Building
154. Please confirm costs for the addition at the NE corner of Building 154 are to be included in this line item as well. (General, Ref: Bid Schedule)
a. . That is correct.
5. Please confirm the absence of PFAS and other soil contaminants and that the soil on site can be treated as "clean" soil. (Earthwork, Ref: Geotechnical Report)
a. See Environmental Relocation Guidance Memo dated 24 Oct 2018. PFAS analyte testing will be required for soil intended to be relocated on-base. Contractor is responsible for verifying the data provided in Geotechnical Report. The project site is NOT a documented IRP site.
6. Please provide a finish schedule for Building B158 indicating floor and ceiling finishes. (Architectural, Ref: A-102)
